Prints
Prints can be purchased directly from this website by using the shopping cart facility with payment being made by Paypal. You may also contact me by email and pay by cheque.
Limited editions:
Images are printed on archival art papers, either Hahnemühle Fine Art Photo Rag or Somerset Velvet 100% Cotton Rag, using Epson Ultrachrome pigment inks (known as Giclée prints) giving an estimated display life of 80 – 100 years. For best longevity prints should be window mounted and framed behind glass.
Any particular image in this section is available in a maximum of two different sized Giclée limited editions - e.g. ‘Lady in red hat’ is available in an edition of 95 (image size - 22 x 22cm) and an edition of 50 (image size – 32 x 32cm). Images will have a white border varying from 3cm to 10cm depending on the size of the image to allow for window mounting. The prints are titled with an edition number and signed in pencil.
Actual editions, sizes and costs are displayed with each image.
Certain limited edition images are also available as C-type digital prints in perspex reverse mounts where the front of the print is bonded to a sheet of clear perspex with an opaque sheet of perspex or aluminium as a backing. These are available in one size only (usually larger again than the largest Giclée edition) in editions of 8. Please email for more details.
Open editions:
The images in the open editions section are usually available in two or three different sizes and are printed using the same papers and inks as the limited editions, giving them the same archival qualities. The prints are titled and signed in pencil.
Postage and packaging:
Prints are sold unmounted and are either flat-packed (up to A3 size) or carefully rolled in strong cardboard tubes. Marked prices include postage and packaging for 'signed for' delivery worldwide. Please allow up to 15 days for delivery.
